In response to irregularities such as loan misuse and subletting under the 'New Youth Peace of Mind Home Purchase Housing Loan' (New Youth Security Loan), the Taiwanese government has revised the loan regulations to limit borrowers to one loan. Premier Su Tseng-chang instructed to strengthen inspections and emphasized the commitment to promoting housing justice, combating speculation, and caring for young people while not tolerating disruptions to the housing market order. The government also aims to ensure the proper use of limited financial resources and collaborate with local governments to investigate and penalize violations, including canceling benefits and recovering interest subsidies.
