Taiwan High Prosecutors’ Office Achievements in Combating Fraud Since the Inauguration of the Lai Administration

Since the new government led by Lai Ching-te took office in Taiwan, the High Prosecutors' Office has been actively cracking down on telecommunications fraud groups. From May 24 to June 14, a nationwide operation led to the seizure of 25 computer rooms, 16 water rooms, and the confiscation of NT$177.49 million in assets. The government's anti-fraud strategy has proven successful, with significant progress in combating fraud activities and returning the proceeds to victims.
