Reported 11 months ago

According to a Taiwan Television Network report on June 8, 2024, train drivers and conductors of Taiwan High Speed Rail are required to pass an alcohol test with zero alcohol detected before duty. However, in April, a senior train conductor was found to have evaded the alcohol test, and the supervisor responsible for oversight also neglected the duty. After an investigation, Taiwan High Speed Rail decided to impose severe penalties, announcing that both the train conductor and the supervisor received a major and a minor demerit.
