The Taipei-Hong Kong Economic and Cultural Cooperation Promotion Council (ECCPC) and the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) jointly organized the '2024 Hong Kongers' Suitable Life in Taiwan Seminar' to help Hong Kong people intending to settle in Taiwan adapt to life there and understand settlement-related matters. Several seminars were held with representatives from relevant agencies providing guidance. The ECCPC and MAC emphasized the need for applicants to supplement necessary documents for settlement permit applications, clarifying misunderstandings and ensuring a smoother settlement process for Hong Kong residents in Taiwan.
