Taiwan Independence: Lin You-chang Warns of 65 Countries with Judicial Cooperation with China

In response to Taiwan independence, China recently issued new regulations threatening severe penalties such as the death penalty for those who commit acts of splitting the country. While Taiwan stated that China has no jurisdiction over Taiwan, DPP Secretary-General Lin You-chang warned that China has judicial cooperation with 65 countries, which could assist in arresting criminals and extraditing them. This creates risks for individuals in countries with such agreements, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Indonesia.
