From June 28-30, Tzu Chi Foundation distributed condolence funds to 4576 households affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake in Japan, with Ven. Master Zhenyan's letter of condolence bringing great comfort to the victims. Japanese volunteers expressed gratitude for the support, and recipients shared how the funds provided not just financial assistance, but also hope and encouragement. Despite challenges like severe weather, volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth process for the recipients, who were deeply moved and appreciative of the kindness shown by the volunteers in various ways, reflecting the strong bond between Taiwan and Japan.
