In Taiwan, known as the 'Kingdom of Kidney Dialysis,' people often worry about kidney disease, yet lack full knowledge about it. Dr. Xie Zhitong, from the Department of Nephrology at Taipei City Hospital, Yangming Branch, shared the five common symptoms of kidney disease: 'Foam, Swelling, High blood pressure, Anemia, and Fatigue.' He advised that if these symptoms persist or if the glomerular filtration rate is below 60 ml/min for over 3 months, it indicates kidney dysfunction and requires early medical intervention to delay kidney function degradation and avoid dialysis.
