The market expo organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs saw unexpected success due to its controversial 'funeral parlor style' design, attracting 72,000 visitors in two days, triple the attendance of the previous year, with over a million in sales on the first day. The event featured unique designs that unintentionally resembled a funeral parlor, sparking online buzz and drawing visitors to witness the unconventional setup. Despite the popularity, the expo will switch locations to Taichung in September and undergo a redesign, retaining the attention-grabbing blue and white theme but without the 'funeral parlor' elements.
