Legislator Huang Jen dropped a bombshell revelation during a legislative session, pointing out that due to a urea shortage issue, some military vehicles in Taiwan were affected. The protective settings were changed in coordination with the defense department and manufacturers, but it was discovered that a manufacturer deleted the protection setting, potentially leading to risks like urea pipe blockages and vehicle breakdowns. The setting equipment was sourced from Mainland China's Yuanzheng Technology Taiwan branch, sparking concerns about potential vulnerabilities in the vehicle software. Huang Jen has urged the defense department to investigate and submit a review report within a week.
