Taiwan's Minister of Economic Affairs, Wang Mei-Hua, visited the U.S. to participate in SelectUSA and advocate for American support in expediting the legislation for the Taiwan-U.S. Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement (ADTA) and expanding semiconductor tax incentives. Wang's visit highlighted the importance of establishing resilient supply chains in the U.S. through the 'foreign in, domestic out' policy and promoting Taiwan-U.S. cooperation in various fields. During the visit, discussions were also held regarding the Taiwan-U.S. Economic Prosperity Partnership Dialogue (EPPD) and encouraging U.S. businesses to invest in Taiwan.
