The Taiwan Navy's Du Mu Fleet arrived at Taiping Island and anchored off the coast. The fleet, consisting of the Cheng Kung-class frigate 'Cheng Kung' (PFG-1101), Kang Ding-class frigate 'Di Hua' (PFG-1206), and the supply ship 'Pan Shi' (AOE-532), returned to Taiwan on May 28 after completing a training voyage. Photos released by the military show the fleet anchoring near Taiping Island during its voyage in the South China Sea, symbolizing the determination to defend the territorial waters and showcasing Taiwan's sovereignty in the region. During the visit, naval officers and students explored the island to better understand Taiwan's efforts in safeguarding its territories in the South China Sea.
