The Fengyuan Police Substation in Taichung City received a report that a 27-year-old man surnamed Song was kidnapped and held for ransom of 1.4 million NTD. A special task force was formed and successfully rescued the victim in less than four hours with multiple injuries. Five suspects, led by a man surnamed Chen, were apprehended and charged. The main suspect had a history of various crimes. The police operation, involving cross-district cooperation, swiftly resolved the kidnapping case.
