Taiwan Port Company has announced the implementation of the 113th year 'Port Industry Digital Transformation Incentive Program,' with applications accepted until December 31, 113. The total incentive amount is NT$40 million, and individual case rewards have been increased to NT$8 million. Port operators within the Taiwan International (Domestic) Commercial Port operating in areas such as cargo transportation, loading/unloading, and storage services are welcome to apply. The company aims to drive the digital transformation of Taiwan's port industry by injecting innovative thinking and proposing smart solutions. With the recent trend of AI technology combined with the Internet of Things, the company's 'Taiwan Port Group Trans-SMART 2.0⁺ Upgrade Plan' aims to create new digital services in port operations and develop a blueprint for the country's port digitalization. The company has been encouraging digital innovation through incentive programs since 110, with a 100% approval rate for 12 cases in 112, totaling NT$340 million in assistance for digital application introduction. By increasing individual case rewards and promoting technology integration, the company aims to accelerate the digitalization of Taiwan's ports and enhance overall operational efficiency.
