The National Development Council recently released the annual performance results of state-owned enterprises for 112th year, with Taiwan Power Company and CPC Corporation still receiving top ratings and a bonus of 4.4 months, while the first-time deficit-making Chunghwa Post Co. was rated lower, leading to a reduction of 0.9 months' bonus for its 26,000 employees. Despite the Post Company fulfilling its goals and turning profits, extra costs during the pandemic led to the deficit, sparking dissatisfaction among employees.
