Shortly after Huang Jen-Hsun expressed concerns about Taiwan's electricity shortage, a power outage incident occurred in Neihu Science Park on June 18 at around 11 a.m. Taipower has confirmed that due to a line trip, areas in Taipei's Neihu district experienced a blackout affecting 655 households. Repair work was carried out, and power was fully restored by 12:26 p.m. It's noteworthy that NVIDIA's Taiwan branch is located in Neihu Science Park, and Huang Jen-Hsun had previously mentioned the need for sufficient power supply for their AI supercomputers, highlighting the challenge Taiwan faces in terms of power supply just before the power outage crisis emerged.
