A number of mainland civil aircraft flying over the airspace of Kinmen and Matsu on the 17th has raised concerns. Premier of the Executive Yuan, Su Tseng-chang, stated at the Legislative Yuan that if there are any abnormalities in Taiwan's airspace and flight control zones, the military is aware and in control, urging the public to be reassured. The incident was due to weather conditions, with the mainland's flight control units contacting Taiwan in advance and Taiwan being fully aware throughout. Premier Su emphasized that incidents like these are strictly monitored and controlled by the military without any unexpected occurrences, ensuring the public's safety.
