According to a recent survey by the Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation, President Tsai's approval rating dropped significantly within a month of taking office, with only 48% of the public approving of her handling of national affairs. This decrease in support equates to a loss of around 2 million voters, signaling a serious warning for the president. In addition, a survey on party images and satisfaction with legislators revealed mixed feelings towards different parties, with the Democratic Progressive Party maintaining a 37% approval rating, outperforming other parties. However, criticism was also directed at President Tsai for her focus on politics and elections rather than economic policies, highlighting a decline in her popularity after one month in office.
