Reported 8 months ago

President Tsai Ing-wen held a press conference titled 'Trust New Policy, New Taiwan Era' on the eve of his first month in office, where he expressed his biggest feeling being the immense responsibility. He stated that he has been cautious and diligent, not daring to relax, especially when leading the country. Tsai also humorously mentioned that the only thing slightly easier in his new role is that he doesn't need to go to the 4th floor to work, as the 3rd floor suffices. He announced the establishment of three new advisory committees focusing on climate change, a healthy Taiwan, and national defense during the conference at the Presidential Office, where he also engaged with the media.
