Taiwan President Tsai's June Performance Report Shows Increase in Trust and Satisfaction, But a Concerning 9.4% Surge in Disapproval Rate

The latest poll results from July 1st show that President Tsai Ing-wen's satisfaction and trust ratings have increased, but so has the disapproval rate by 9.4%. Despite the rise, Tsai's governance satisfaction is at 47.6%, up by 2.4%, making it a concern due to the 34.7% disapproval rate. The survey conducted by 'The Beautiful Island E-News' also highlighted changes in perceptions towards other political parties and figures in Taiwan's government, revealing fluctuations in favorability and disfavorability towards the ruling Democratic Progressive Party, the opposition Kuomintang party, and the People First Party, as well as sentiments towards the Chinese Communist Party.
