Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation's Latest Poll Shows Blue and White Party Support Plunges by 15.6% with Over 3 Million Votes Lost

Reported 8 months ago

The Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation released a poll in June on parliamentary reform, presidential approval ratings, and party competition. The poll reveals that the Democratic Progressive Party's support has been steadily increasing, surpassing the combined support of the Kuomintang and People's Party. The Blue and White party's post-election support dropped by 15.6%, losing over three million supporters, similar to the number of votes received by the People Party's Chairman Ko Wen-je in the 2024 election. The poll indicates a significant shift in party dynamics five months after the presidential and legislative elections, with the DPP's support rising while the KMT and People's Party experienced declines.
