A recent survey by the Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation shows that 51.9% of the public supports the Executive Yuan's proposal regarding 'Parliamentary Reform,' with the People's Party experiencing a 3.9% decline in support. In terms of party preference, the survey indicates 37.4% support for the Democratic Progressive Party, 17.8% for the Kuomintang, and 14.3% for the People's Party. The survey also reveals shifts in support for different parties compared to the previous month, with the Democratic Progressive Party maintaining its lead and overall public support surpassing that of the Kuomintang and the People's Party combined. The data also shows a significant rise in neutral voters by 7.7%. Besides political party support, the survey measured public sentiment towards various political figures and issues, including a positive rating towards Huang Jen-hsun. The survey was conducted by the Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation and the results provide insights into the political landscape leading up to the 2024 presidential and legislative elections.
