Starting from today, Taiwan Railway has implemented a large-scale timetable change, with the introduction of 45 sets of EMU 3000 new Tze-Chiang Express trains in operation. The main highlight of this change is the introduction of direct train services in the western regions, reducing travel time to as little as 3 hours and 38 minutes from the north to the south. Additionally, the new trains significantly enhance capacity, providing faster and more efficient services. A total of 436 train services across the entire network will be affected by this latest timetable adjustment.
