Due to severe landslides caused by earthquakes and heavy rains, the Taiwan Railways Administration's eastern mainline tracks were impacted near Chongde and Heren on July 1, leading to delays of around 10 to 15 minutes. After overnight repairs, the Chongde-Heren section resumed single-track operations in both directions by 5:50 a.m. The landslides at multiple locations between Chongde and Heren have been cleared, with one track reopened and repair efforts ongoing on the other. Passengers traveling through this section are advised to check for train schedule updates on the official website or through the e-booking system.
