Despite its low passenger count, it operates as a major station with 2 to 4 freight trains arriving and departing daily, generating over one million NTD in monthly revenue with only 11 staff members. The station has recently attracted more visitors with the 'Blue Skin Relief Train' trend, offering special ticket designs and unique sights for tourists.
