A deputy stationmaster at Taiwan Railways Taichung Station, known for recording passengers' violations and posting them on his personal YouTube channel 'Dukoff Taiwan Railways', sparked controversy by yelling 'terminate the contract' when a female passenger did not comply with rules. The deputy stationmaster recently faced criticism after netizens revealed his annual salary of over NT$1.1 million, with some questioning his actions as 'publicly shaming passengers' while others defended his dedication to work. Taiwan Railways confirmed that the deputy stationmasters' salaries range up to seven figures, with about 22.6% of them earning over a million annually, but declined to verify the specific salary of the exposed deputy stationmaster due to privacy concerns.
