Taiwan Railways Corporation has adjusted its schedules starting from June 26, 2024, in response to the full deployment of the EMU3000 intercity trains. The adjustments include increasing the capacity of Western and Eastern routes by 4.2% and 3% respectively, introducing new services, and enhancing train operations. Additionally, the new R200 high-performance diesel locomotives have been introduced to improve freight transportation safety, efficiency, and reduce costs. These locomotives are equipped with advanced features such as perimeter cameras for enhanced safety, automatic fire suppression system, and are designed to support a variety of railway transport needs.
