Due to heavy rain in Hualien causing multiple mudslides on the Suhua Highway, two sections of railway tracks were flooded at 'Hehuan to Chongde' causing train service suspension. After emergency repairs, double-line train service was restored this morning with trains traveling at a reduced speed of 30 km/h through the affected areas. The restoration efforts were carried out by the Hualien Railway section. This comes as a relief for travelers as the first train, No. 4117, departed smoothly. To ensure safety, trains are currently passing through three sections at a reduced speed of 30 km/h.
