Taiwan Railways has not adjusted ticket prices for 29 years and is currently exploring related adjustment plans. Minister of Transportation Li Meng-Yan stated in an interview today that the Ministry of Transportation will consider three directions to find the optimal choice once the plans are submitted by Taiwan Railways. Li Meng-Yan emphasized the importance of reflecting reasonable ticket prices and costs to improve the operation of Taiwan Railways, including punctuality and service quality enhancement.
