In response to recent aggressive actions by China towards Taiwan, including the issuance of the '22 measures to punish Taiwan independence', the Mainland Affairs Council raised the travel advisory for China, Hong Kong, and Macau to 'orange alert'. Legislator Lin Chuyin from the Democratic Progressive Party expressed concerns that without proper dissemination of news, many people may not be aware of the travel warnings. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chen Li-guo, mentioned that in addition to news releases, they will also utilize social media to alert citizens to 'exercise caution' when traveling abroad. Lin Chuyin emphasized the importance of both government warnings and public awareness in assessing risks, citing the need for mutual cooperation between the two.
