The Rakuten credit card offers up to 3.25% cashback on overseas physical transactions, while Rakuten online banking and Rakuten Tiger Card jointly provide up to 12.5% cashback after completing specific tasks. The event coincided with a baseball game between Rakuten Monkeys and Fubon Guardians, attracting many fans. The first pro baseball cheerleading team in Taiwan collaborated with Rakuten to create the 'Rakuten Monkeys Girl Card.' Rakuten's focus on the increasing Taiwanese visitors to Japan led to the establishment of a credit card business in Taiwan, with travel benefits as the main selling point. In 2019, Rakuten acquired the Lamigo Monkeys baseball team, renamed it the Rakuten Monkeys, and introduced the Rakuten Monkeys Co-branded Card in 2020.
