Mainland Affairs Council Chairman Chiu Chui-cheng, in his first press conference, reiterated the consistent government stance on cross-strait relations according to the ROC constitutional framework, urging mutual understanding. Emphasizing Taiwan's sovereignty and maintaining peaceful cross-strait relations, Chiu highlighted the need for goodwill and rational dialogue to prevent conflicts and promote stability.
