The Ministry of National Defense in Taiwan reported that on the evening of June 21, 2024, a total of 30 Chinese military aircraft crossed into Taiwanese airspace, with 17 of them exceeding the median line of the Taiwan Strait and its extension, entering the northern, central, southwestern, and eastern regions. The Taiwanese military closely monitored the situation using joint intelligence surveillance methods and appropriately deployed aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile systems. This action was in coordination with joint operations by Chinese naval vessels under the 'Joint Battle Preparedness Patrol'.
