The Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan recently announced the detailed plan for the upcoming Han Kuang No. 40 exercise scheduled from July 22 to 26. The exercise will include five major phases and subjects such as force preservation, overall air defense, joint interception, and joint homeland defense operations. The Ministry also noted that on the evening of the 9th, a total of 26 aircraft, including various types of Chinese combat and support aircraft like the Su-30 and Y-8, were detected conducting activities near Taiwan's airspace, with some aircraft crossing into northern, central, and southern airspace regions. The Defense Ministry emphasized that the Taiwanese military is closely monitoring the situation and deploying appropriate forces in response.
