Lin Guohua, Deputy Director of the Civil Defense Command and Control Office of the Police Administration Bureau, stated that there are a sufficient number of air raid shelters nationwide, with a total of 83,863 shelters capable of accommodating 55,148,250 people in Taiwan. This is twice the population of Taiwan, providing ample space for emergency situations. The Police Administration Bureau has created bilingual evacuation guides to instruct people on how to seek shelter when air raid warnings are issued, and has also ensured that shelter signs are durable and visible, with features such as icons from the police service app, bilingual text, and directional guidance. These signs are placed in buildings, metro stations, schools, and underground parking lots to aid in easy identification during emergencies.
