Reported 11 months ago

Nationalist Party legislator Wang Hung-wei criticized President Lai Ching-te as unsuitable for national leadership, stating that since Lai took office as President and Premier Chih Jung-tai, they have been using confrontational methods against the opposition party. Wang pointed out that conflicts within the Democratic Progressive Party have emerged, with media personality Kuo Yu-kao publicly criticizing Lai for allowing his office manager to travel with him and likening the manager to a fat character, indirectly targeting Lai. Wang also mentioned instances where the party's magazine criticized Ko Chien-ming and the new cabinet members, indicating internal turmoil. Wang concluded that Lai's combative nature has led to internal and external distress, making him unsuitable as a national leader.
