Taiwan's 'Judo Prince' Yang Yong-Wei, who won a silver medal at the previous Tokyo Olympics, is gearing up for the upcoming Paris Olympics with high hopes after achieving a personal best at a recent championship. Embracing new training elements introduced by a Mongolian coach, Yang is optimistic about his chances. Besides his competitive spirit, Yang expressed his desire to watch Rafael Nadal's final performance on the clay court in Paris and to indulge in some salt and pepper chicken after the competition. Reflecting on his past achievements and setbacks, Yang is determined to excel in Paris as he continues his rigorous training regime with the support of the Taiwan Judo Association and training centers, including engagements with the Japanese national team.
