Taiwan Mobile's CEO Lin Chih-chen mentioned that two out of the three major telecom companies in Taiwan have reached revenue scales of over 200 billion NTD, while the other has not reached 100 billion NTD. The future telecom market in Taiwan is expected to move closer to a 'Two Giants One Medium' structure. Taiwan Mobile has shown significant growth, with its telecom operating profit breaking 5 billion NTD in the first five months of the year, an almost 60% increase compared to the same period last year. With plans to accelerate the merger benefits from 2024 to 2025 and focusing on network optimization and expanding technology and telecom business development, Taiwan Mobile aims to enhance profitability and strengthen its position in the market.
