According to FTNN News, Kuomintang lawmakers plan to review the nuclear extension bill in July, adding a significant legislative review to the current session. If passed, the bill would require the Executive Yuan to address the issue of extending the operations of the Second and Third Nuclear Power Plants. While some within the KMT oppose the move, it is noted that the decision still lies with the ruling party. The bill aims to eliminate the requirement for a license renewal five years before an extension, making it a critical point for the DPP government's anti-nuclear stance.
