Taiwan's Taoyuan City Guishan Elementary School Little League team and Xinming Junior High School Junior League team returned to Taiwan on July 5 as champions of the World Junior Baseball Confederation Asia-Pacific Championship. They will represent the Asia-Pacific region at the World Series in the USA in August. While Xinming Junior High School's team achieved a perfect record of four wins, including a 10-0 victory over Japan in the finals, Guishan Elementary School's team avenged an earlier loss to South Korea and also captured the championship title. Both teams exhibited outstanding performances in pitching, batting, and fielding, highlighting Taiwan's baseball talent on the global stage.
