During the mango season in June and July each year, half of Taiwan's mangoes come from Tainan. Tainan Agriculture Bureau Director Li Jianyu announced the official start of the '2024 Taiwan Mango Season - Tainan International Mango Festival,' urging people to order and enjoy fresh and delicious mangoes directly from Tainan. Due to this year's lower production caused by weather conditions, he advised people to enjoy them quickly. Quality mangoes from Taiwan are not only loved domestically but also serve as flagship export fruits, with Kent and Irwin mangoes being popular in various markets. Various mango culinary creations were demonstrated at the event, highlighting the diverse applications of mangoes in cuisine. Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-Che invited everyone to the Mango Festival through various engaging activities.
