In response, People Party spokesperson Dai Yu-wen strongly protested and condemned the use of such simplistic historical views, highlighting DPP's concentration of power resembling dictatorship and corrupt practices. Additionally, Dai called for a thorough investigation into mainland Chinese media's involvement in Taiwanese news programs.
