Taiwan's Premier Planning Constitutional Interpretation on Expanding Parliament's Power

Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te has announced plans to request a constitutional interpretation from the Constitutional Court regarding amendments to the Legislative Yuan Organic Law and the Criminal Code. Premier Su Tseng-chang stated that the Executive Yuan is carefully planning the process for seeking judicial review from the Constitutional Court. Su emphasized the importance of upholding constitutional stability and balanced separation of powers through the interpretation of laws post-review.
