Reported 8 months ago
Taiwan's Representative to the US, Yu Da-han, was recently accused of using public funds to purchase luxury items, including a nearly 4 million NT dollar luxury car, over 2 million NT dollars on items like beds, carpets, sofas, and even reporting expenses for items like toilet paper and toothpaste, spending a total of 8 million NT dollars in six months. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to these allegations, stating that the items purchased by Yu had exceeded their lifespan or were damaged, and adjustments were made due to price increases during the epidemic. The Ministry continues to review the situation and does not comment on Yu's complaints about Vice President Xiao Meiqin.
