On June 29, 2024, a video surfaced on social media showing a woman driving an electric mobility scooter in Taoyuan, Taiwan, with two trailers attached to the back, followed by two logistic boxes, essentially turning it into a mini articulated vehicle. This not only violates traffic regulations but also poses a serious safety hazard to other road users. Netizens jokingly called it Taiwan's strongest electric vehicle and criticized the lack of enforcement of traffic laws. According to current regulations, electric scooters are considered pedestrian aids with a maximum speed of 10 km/h and should be used on sidewalks or, if unavailable, close to the edge of the road.
