In an effort to promote a slow economy and reduce plastic waste, Taitung County Government will implement a new plastic reduction policy starting July 1st. To incentivize using eco-friendly cups and reducing single-use plastic cups, TTPush members can earn a 5 NTD discount from participating beverage stores by linking their eco-cup through the app. Additionally, the county government offers an extra reward of 50 Taitung coins. By participating in this initiative, it is estimated that around 15.23 million single-use plastic cups can be saved annually, reducing approximately 18,040.84 kg of carbon emissions.
