A report released by CTBC Bank and Boston Consulting Group in March this year reveals that Taiwan has around 110,000 individuals with assets surpassing 10 million NTD, accumulating a total wealth of 32 trillion NTD. The report also points out that there are over 7,000 individuals in Taiwan with assets exceeding 1 billion NTD, amassing a total wealth of 15 trillion NTD. It predicts that by 2027, Taiwan will have 140,000 individuals with assets over 10 million NTD and a total wealth of 46 trillion NTD, with over 8,000 individuals worth more than 1 billion NTD and a total wealth of 22 trillion NTD. This indicates a continuous rise in Taiwan's wealth levels with individuals expanding their assets mainly through stocks, real estate, and business operations, showcasing a preference for diversified asset allocations including stocks, bonds, and alternative investments.
