The annual 'Taiwan Service Industry Evaluation' organized by the Commercial Times will take place in July, with a focus on promoting the concept of 'friendly service' through emphasizing 'employee empathy' and evaluating both 'service personnel empathy' and 'service facilities' in a depth manner. The assessment shows that, especially in sectors like banking, securities, and life insurance, while facilities geared toward friendly services are well-established, there is still significant room for improvement in terms of the empathy shown by service personnel, pointing to the need for further training and fostering a culture of empathy within enterprises. Small and medium enterprises, especially in the food industry, tend to lack in this aspect, with the evaluation presenting challenges in finding standout examples due to a lack of the 'friendly service' concept in operation and customer service staff.
