Analyst Zhong Kunzhen from Moore Investment Consultants pointed out that last week, the Taiwan stock market continued to hit new highs, with TSMC peaking at 984 NT dollars and the second largest weighted stock, Hon Hai, reaching above 2 NT dollars after 16 years. The market trend shows large-weighted stocks leading the rise, with mid and small-cap stocks following suit, indicating a healthy rotational market. Selected stocks for the week include New Han (8234), Golden Rain (4503), along with Power Logic (3044), Qisda (4908), and Unimicron (2406). New Han, driven by Nvidia, focuses on robotics, with inventory almost cleared out, expecting continuous growth in the third quarter and exceeding last year's revenue. Golden Rain will collaborate with Hon Hai to develop AI robots, incorporating manufacturing of server chassis, gaming machines, and smart vending machines. Power Logic reported a strong first-quarter profit of 1.84 billion NT dollars with an EPS of 3.5 NT dollars, approving a dividend of 7.5 NT dollars. Qisda has been attracting investor attention, with its stock price rising by over 30% in the year. Unimicron is included in this week's stock picks due to hopes of a recovery in the solar energy industry. The Taiwan stock market outlook warns of profit-taking at the end of the month given the continuous rise in the weighted index. TSMC's current order visibility indicates an estimated EPS of around 50 NT dollars in 2025, with a reasonable P/E ratio of about 20 times, suggesting a fair value of around 1,000 NT dollars. It is predicted that TSMC's approaching the 1,000 NT dollar milestone will lead to fluctuations. Apple concept stocks are expected to benefit from the anticipated increase in sales of the iPhone 16, with revenue rising accordingly. Stocks with higher exposure to Apple, such as lens manufacturer Largan Precision, PCB companies Unimicron and Tripod Technology, are poised for potential upward movements.
