Taiwan's stock market hit a new high at 22567.34 points, with popular ETFs also reaching a new peak of 2.25 trillion in size, notably the high-yield ETFs experiencing rapid growth this year by adding 641.717 billion, accounting for over 80% of the total ETF size growth. Among them, the four largest ETFs have a combined size exceeding 1 trillion, showing Taiwan's increasing interest in high-yield ETFs. Notably, among the high-yield ETFs with over a trillion in size are two standout performers - the Yuanta High-Dividend ETF and the Yuanta Taiwan Value High Yield ETF, with 00919 boasting a 21.12% return rate this year. Market analysts attribute the differing performance among high-yield ETFs to varying stock selection strategies, with these types of ETFs being considered a stable investment choice due to their lower volatility compared to individual stocks and the market at large.
