Taiwan's stock market opened with a decline of 12.85 points on June 20th, but quickly turned positive and continued to rise, with the weighted index closing at the highest level by gaining 196.56 points at 23,406.1 points, up 0.85%. Electronic value stocks such as TSMC remained flat, while MediaTek, Quanta, Delta Electronics, and Foxconn all ended in the green. Notably, other electronics, green energy, and computer peripherals segments showed robust growth with some stocks hitting their daily limit up. Overall, these sectors contributed to the market's positive performance as the index closed in the green territory.
